CPS Energy saying you're late even though the web page shows paid up.

very annoying and call everyday. it sounds like four different people on message but never explain themsleves.

call comes in and no one says anything when I answer the phone. cant return call either.

He called and told me he was working with the Attorney Generals office trying to collect a debt that was received from a payday loan wanting me to pay $400.00 then it went up to $505.00. he gave me a case number but wont send or fax me information.

said I was entered into a drawing. I did not sign up to anything that I am aware of. They did try to push a weekly magazine which I said that I was not interested in. They had my cell number and my home address which I did not provide either. They said I was entered by my bank either visa/mc which none have my cell number. They did not ask nor did I give any cc info including even what kind of cards I carry. Just seemed off.

Caller ID says Florida PBA; I have no idea what PBA stands for (Pro Bowlers Association?). No msg left. Whoever it is calls frequently.

Received a call at my place of employment - it is a municipality and the Supervisor's Secretary told her not to call. I have no idea who this is.

told me it was very urgent to speak with me asap, with a case number, but no phone number. Said it was CRA? Female voice. Haven't returned the call, but curious where my number was found. not too sure I want to call back, at least until I know everything I need to ask them.

I've been getting a call on my cell phone from this phone number pretty much on a daily basis - as I don't recognize the number, I don't answer... they never leave a message, so today after they called, I decided to try the number to see what company it was... It rang and then a man's voice recording came on and says "this number is not in service, please try again... GOODBYE" - it's not the normal recording you get when you get an out of service number (usually a woman's voice), so whatever company this is, they don't want anyone knowing where they're calling from and using this line as an out.

HOW COULD THIS NUMBER BE OUT OF SERVICE, WHEN IT BE ON MY CALLER ID BOX EVERYDAY?

When I answered the phone, the caller said, "This is Select Services and we are your tech support company. We are sending out your $50 rebate for your utilities. Please hold while I verify your information." I asked questions and for a web site for verification, then said I was not interested. I then looked on the internet referencing the phone number only to fins multiple listings and complaints.
